1. Is there any age limit for getting fitted with Artificial Eye?
No. Ocular Prosthesis or Artificial Eye is very safe and it can be fitted in Children as well as Adults.

2. Should I get admitted for getting fitted with Artificial Eye?
No. Fitting Artificial Eye is completely a Non-Surgical Day Care procedure

3. Inserting and removing Artificial Eye. Will I be able to do it myself?
Yes. It is very easy to remove and insert Artificial Eye. Enough training will be given to the patient by our experienced Ocularists at Jaquest Artificial Eye Centre.

4. Can I sleep with my Artificial Eye Worn?
Yes. You can sleep comfortably with your artificial eye worn. Might not be applicable for certain socket conditions. So, it is better to take opinion from your Ocularist for abnormal socket conditions.

5. What material is used to make Artificial Eyes?
PMMA (Polymethyl methacrylate). It is a top class rigid material which is very friendly to the tissues of the Eye Socket.

6. What will happen if artificial eye falls down? Will it break?
Jaquest Artificial Eye Center uses Top class Acrylic material. Hence, Artificial Eye will never get damaged with normal or casual handling, exception for vigorous activities.

7. How often should I visit my Ocularist for polishing the Artificial Eye?
Professional Polishing and Evaluation of Artificial Eye is mandatory Annually or Bi-annually.

8. Fitting Artificial Eye, will it affect my Normal Eye?
There is “No” relation between your Artificial Eye and the normal Eye.

9. Why it is not advisable to wear Ready-made Artificial Eye?
Ready-made eye will be manufactured in random sizes, unlike the custom made Artificial Eyes. Fitting this random sizes i.e. Readymade Artificial Eye brings major complications for the eye socket in future which may need surgical intervention.

9. What are the differences in cosmetic outcome between Readymade and Customized Artificial Eye?
